My Story
A perfect storm - the world shut down, and my 21-year marriage was forced to look in the mirror. Resisting this painful reality, I looked to everything else in my life. After a 20+ year career as a school psychologist working with children and families, I was called to the counseling field. I earned a second master’s degree and began specializing in relationships and couples therapy.
I was driven by curiosity to figure out how I got to this crossroads in my life and why I hadn’t gotten there sooner. I found the answers in myself, and this was empowering! I took this new insight and, with my new partner, built something deeply meaningful and comforting.
I am passionate about helping couples find this with each other and I use attachment science and EFT to do that. I also find it satisfying to accompany individuals on a journey within to reclaim disowned parts of Self and find presence, passion, and playfulness.
