I’m Courtney Orlowski.

I am a Professional Counselor in Pittsburgh, PA, providing relationship and couples counseling in Pennsylvania.

I am a mom of six, married, queer, and a lifelong learner. I provide LGBTQ+ affirming therapy and support for relationship non-conformity - I celebrate you and your unique identity.

Internal Family Systems
for individuals

I utilize a structured approach to help you reclaim self-leadership.

Formally trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), I will work with you to transform restrictive emotional patterns, foster internal coherence, and build deep resilience.

I will help you work underneath the disorders of ADHD, depression, panic attacks, and anxiety. We often come to therapy to get rid of a symptom because we hate that we do these things.

What does this yield from traditional therapy? Solutions, problem-solving, coping strategies! These may only give short relief, but not actually solve the problem.

Actually, it's the dissonance created by pushing away, dismissing, or numbing our pain that causes our distress.

I will help you feel safe getting curious about the symptom and bring relationship to this part of you. You will be surprised at how much capacity for healing lies within when you choose me as a healing companion.

I offer a clear, structured path to increase emotional intelligence and awareness, to recognize and express your emotional needs more effectively, and to respond to your partner in a meaningful and “felt” way.
